Hairdos for Bridesmaids

Partial Updo is option for Bridesmaids Hairdos
The bride needs a perfect hairdo for the big wedding day. No argument there. The bridal party also needs to look good- but not too good. No bride wants her bridal party to out 'style' her when it comes to the hair style.

Many bridal parties organize and plan their own wedding hair style. Some opt for all matching styles such as up dos, curly dos, or partial up do styles. Of course the final decision is all up to the bride. Matching hair accessories are also a common factor with bridal party hairdos.

Several options for bridesmaid hairstyles include the partial updo, the ponytail updo and the all over curly style.  The one that is the hardest to create for everyone is the all over curly style.  Some types of hair don't take curls or keep them for very long and the process of curling may take some time. If there is time before the wedding and the bridal party has several hair stylists on board, then the all over curly style is a great style to go with.

The curly style is ultra stylish and looks very formal for any wedding.  Consider other styles and hairdos for bridesmaids  Remember, planning in advance is the best way to go - avoids stress and uncertainty on the day of the wedding.

Once you find several styles that you really like, you can take copies of the picture to your hair stylist and show him or her exactly what you are looking for.  Your stylist will be able to adapt the style you like to make it work for you, your wedding dress and your overall style.
If you are doing your own hair, you might want to enlist several friends to help you with creating your style.  Sometimes it can take several different practice attempts before you get just the right look. Updos for Wedding Hair Styles

Spring and summer weddings are the perfect time of year to go with a romantic updo hair styles. There are so many different ways to wear an updo, messy, curly , elaborate or classic.  See examples below.

The updo can be pulled back, see photo left and right, with a little height in the crown area and gently side swept bangs or long pieces of hair.

This type of hair style is very easy to create on your own.  Apply a styling cream to damp hair and blow dry using a large round brush. Next, Take small sections of hair in the crown area and gently back comb them and smooth over the top with your fingers.

Next, pull the hair back into a high ponytail and twist into a chignon, pinning in place with hair pins. Pull out several wispy strands of hair and bangs to softly fall around the face.  You can even add curls to the hair fringe for a more fancy look.
